We are passionate about antique fireplaces and restoring them to their former glory. We approach all restoration in a sympathetic manner to not only restore and repair the fireplace to its best possible light, but also to conserve the age and history of the piece.

Wherever possible, we use original materials and methods that were traditionally used in the construction and installation of the fireplace. We are happy to work within the exacting guidelines laid out by Historic England (formerly English Heritage) and local conservation officers and will always complete the work to the highest standard. As well as a restoration service we have original pieces for sale and can supply historically appropriate reproductions.

We were established in London in 1989, during which time we were contracted as Chesney’s on-site restoration and troubleshooting team. Some of the more prestigious projects we have worked on include providing restoration services to the Bedford Estate, working in many properties in and around Bedford Square in the Central London district of Bloomsbury, the Grosvenor Estates in the West London districts of Belgravia and Pimlico and properties in Eaton Square also the Crown Estate, including the residence of HRH the Prince of Wales.

We re-located to Hastings in 2006, from where we now provide professional fireplace restoration services and sales across South East England, drawing on our extensive experience of more than 30 years. We specialise in conservation area and non-conservation area projects throughout the southeast.
