I have been painting and recycling old and unwanted furniture for over 15 years, initially working for a London based company who specialised in painting antique French furniture. I started my own business in 2014 and opened my workshop in The Yard (formally Britannia Enterprise Centre) in 2017. I use a mixture of different techniques, paints and finishes to create affordable, durable and hard wearing furniture that lasts a lifetime. I use a mixture of different types of paints but im looking into becoming a more eco-friendly business by using just milk and mineral paints and only using hemp or natural beeswax finishes, these are 100% eco friendly, virtually VOC free and food safe.
