Adam is a print, pattern and textile designer who trained at Glasgow School of Art before completing a masters at The Royal College of Art. Since then he has spent the past 20 years working as a Textile, Concept and Colour designer for some of the world's most prestigious brands in fashion and textiles including Paul Smith, Neisha Crosland and Kate Spade New York to name a few.
Adam set up his studio upon moving to Hastings and its a space where he creates one off textile pieces, prints and limited edition objects. He is inspired by the world around him and is constantly drawing and thinking about pattern and colour. His inspirations range from modernist architecture to patterning in renaissance paintings. He fuses all of this inspiration together to create one off quilts, prints and homeware objects. Whether it be a quilt or a floral pattern, Adam's work always has a strong bold, colourful and eclectic aesthetic.
